It’s the last last day of February and this year we celebrate all the leap year babies (including one of my family members!). This was a fun social piece to create for Hallmark, HBD!

Today I’m thrilled to share some recent work for my talented sister, Grace Piper Fields/GPF. She is a singer, songwriter & playwright currently studying at Belmont University in Nashville. A few months ago I had the chance to letter her name for her personal website, and recently I’ve expanded the lettering to include logos for her new business, Moon Piper Productions.
Grace shares that Moon Piper Productions mission is to connect people through original musicals and immersive concert experiences. We advocate for hope through the arts because music shows us that there is more to life than meets the eye. Music speaks to us and through us. We are a community of songwriters, musicians, creatives, and music lovers who use music as an energetic force for expressing life. Music is our love language.
In addition to being the home of Grace’s musical, Lorene’s Reverie, which I will share more about soon, she has also started a podcast and is talking with songwriters, musicians, and other creatives in the entertainment business in each episode. You can learn more about the podcast on her website. I’m so proud of all that Grace is working towards in her first year of college!
I’ve seen this piece of mine used on cards and social posts for Hallmark, and I thought today was the perfect day to share! Happy Heart Day to you, and I hope you have sent some mail or picked up a card for someone special this Valentine’s Day. XOXO

The talented Hallmark artist Christy Ni and I had a chance to collaborate on some work for Valentine’s Day 2024 and this HVD lettering piece I created was one of my favorite parts! I love how it was applied to this Paper Wonder card, and have enjoyed spotting it in several marketing pieces. I hope you are ready to celebrate heart day with those you love!

A lot of times I don’t know exactly how my artwork for Hallmark will be used, and I love discovering how designers applied my work to product! This Valentine’s Day card for son features a heart pattern from a past collection I worked on. I love the richness of this card, and hope to see it in stores, too!

Valentine’s Day (my second favorite holiday after Christmas) is right around the corner! I loved seeing my “Valentine Vibes” lettering included in this fun assortment for Hallmark Mahogany. My talented Visual Studios co-workers also contributed lovely lettering and illustrations used in this group!
