Last year I had another opportunity to collaborate with the talented Hallmark Keepsakes team to provide font and lettering consultation for the 2024 Everyday Celebrations ornaments line! Hallmark has a wonderful selection of photo card designs for the holiday season this year! The two below feature my font, Fieldnotes created by Josh Scruggs, and then my “Merry Christmas” hand lettered title. I’m excited to get working on my personal holiday cards very soon!

April has come to a close and it went SO fast! This was our first full month with Grant and both Dale and I were off work on leave. I will always remember how special it was to have time at home together with our new baby! Family and friends got to come meet Grant and we spent many sleepless nights up with the baby, had pediatrician visits, and enjoyed all the snuggles. We also made it to Reverie, Grace’s musical she wrote and composed, celebrated Easter with family, and celebrated our nephew Graham’s 6th birthday. Here are a few favorites from around the web:

At the end of the year, our lettering group at Hallmark participated in a two day stained glass workshop! I was SO excited to learn about stained glass, and used the opportunity to make a special piece for the baby’s room. Matt Kessler leads workshops at Hallmark, and was also kind enough to solder my piece for me so I wouldn’t be exposed to the lead while pregnant. I love how it turned out and can’t wait to get it hung up just as soon as our blinds arrive!
I’m excited to share that my graphic shapes illustration was used on this birthday card for the Studio Signature Collection! Available online and in stores now, I’m going to be sharing some of my lettering-focused pieces over the next few weeks. Enjoy!
